THE POWER OF PRAYER.

Anyone can do it anywhere and at any time that's the power of prayer, talking to God should not be complicated as many people think. Through prayers, we can talk to God. Prayer is a way of communicating with God. As a Christian, when praying, you need to present not only your grievances but also your success stories that you have encountered at different intervals.

According to the bible, we are in the image and likeness of God, meaning prayer is a lifestyle that is in us so, we pray to remain in the will of God. Therefore this means that we as Christians prayer as an act of obedience (Mark 1:35, Acts 2:42).

Many Christians have developed a culture of praying when we have difficulties. People run to churches and even tend to consult pastors to find a way on how they can overcome issues in their lifestyles. An indication that prayer gives Christians a chance to seek solutions for their dilemmas and tough decisions. For everyone who asks receives. Everyone who seeks finds. And if you knock, the door will be opened (Luke 11:10). 

Did you know that prayer is a form of service? When praying, you are interceding for others, the nation, and even the world at large. The bible in Matthew 5:44 emphasises that you need to dedicate your prayers not only to yourself but also your friend and even go ahead to remember your enemies.

They say when you interact with older people, you became wiser, but I dare say that when you became prayerful, you will be wise. As a Christian, for you to be better prepared, more qualified, and ready to make decisions, then prayer must be your friend number one. Wisdom comes in handy in the lifestyle of an individual. Knowledge and understanding come from our creator, and when praying, we request God to enable us Christians to know good or evil( Colossians 1:9).

Furthermore, prayer is therapeutic. Many at times, human beings engage in various activities, and without any knowledge, you engage in activities that will end up instilling worries, fear, and anxiety. That is the time prayer comes in handy as it helps you cool the storms and scare away the sickness that had threatened your life. As a believer in the word of God, you need to make prayer to be your source of calmness and stability.

Confidence is a virtue that any human being on earth is always eager to have. When one is confident, he or she can achieve great things in life. Whenever people are going to encounter difficulties, they will always pray to God to give them the courage or confidence that will enable them to overcome an obstacle or achieve their goal. Confusion, doubt, and restlessness will tend to limit your level of confidence. But with prayer as a common denominator, you gain power and confidence.

A Christian who has the desire to talk to God needs to be prayerful at all times. Prayer is the medium in which people communicate with God. God is always eager to share ideas, thoughts, guidance, and even his promises with us. However, for us to know what God has in store for us, we need to make prayer a habit. As we communicate with God, we can make requests through the prayers. According to (James 4:2), many Christians lack many things because we never ask God for it. Therefore prayer is considered to be powerful because it helps Christians to make requests to their maker.

Moreover, through prayer, we are in a position to rebuke the devil. The devil is not always happy when Christians gather to fellowship and praise the name of the Lord. The devil likes to bring confusion, chaos, and doubts. Therefore, God gave us prayer as a weapon that we Christians can use to dismantle all the activities that the devil is bringing up to confuse the children of God. Every hour, day, or time, makes prayer your weapon number one (James 4:7).

Just like the relationship that you have between you and your parents, prayers enhance the connection between you and God. The Lord wants to hear from you and needs to talk to you. Through prayer, he listens, and he will answer you through scriptures, thoughts, or even use people's actions.

In conclusion, let us make prayer to be a link in our places of worship because its the password for blessings from God in the spiritual realm.
